How the Rail Works
The rail is the fixed route every item travels from atelier to retail floor. We take the goods in, standardise the product data, complete or direct every mandatory step (hallmarking, conflict minerals, customs, VAT), deliver the accompanying documents and distribute to the European buyer. Every shipment passes the same steps, in the same order, with the same record.

Eight Operational Steps
This is the full sequence. Every other page refers to it rather than repeating it.
01. Data standardisation
Material composition, country of origin, HS code, weight, fineness, imagery and certification references are entered against our Product Data Standard. An incomplete dossier blocks the flow.
02. Conflict-minerals clearance
For all gold products: OECD due diligence documentation confirming responsible provenance.
03. Hallmarking
Precious-metal articles are submitted to Waarborg Holland, the statutory Dutch assay office, for fineness verification and official hallmarking. The certificate is issued per item.
04. Customs and import declaration
We act as importer of record, with EORI registration and the customs declaration managed in-house. Every shipment receives the correct HS or TARIC code and a complete customs file.
05. Import VAT
Import VAT is handled under the Dutch reverse-charge regime for importers of record.
06. Incoterm management
FCA (Incoterms 2020) is the standard across all production-partner relationships. Risk and cost allocation are fixed and documented before a shipment moves.
07. Logistics clearance
High-value shipments move via a specialised valuables carrier under all-risk transit cover, lower-value B2C parcels move via an international express carrier. Every shipment is traced.
08. Distribution
Products that have completed the seven preceding steps are published to the Partner Portal and the online shop.
