This statement concerns the personal data we process through this website and in the contact that follows from it.

At present, this website is a public informational site: it does not offer a customer account, a web shop, or a partner portal, and no such function is currently connected to it.

2. What we process, for what purpose, and on what basis

We process no special categories of personal data through this website, and the website is not directed at children.

3. Sharing data with others

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

We engage service providers who process data on our behalf:

hosting and website platform — Odoo;
email and office software — Google Workspace;
website interaction and campaign-tracking cookies — set directly by the website (Odoo) once you consent via the cookies bar; we do not currently use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics tool.

We may also provide data to our accountant, our advisers or a supervisory authority where a statutory obligation requires it.

4. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

When the services named above are used, data may be processed outside the EEA. Where that is the case, we ensure an appropriate basis applies, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission or the Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep data

Data	Retention period
Contact forms and correspondence without follow-up	12 months from your last message to us, if no business relationship follows, after which it is deleted.
Correspondence leading to a business relationship	For the duration of the business relationship, then the statutory retention periods.
Accounting records and invoices	Seven years, under the Dutch statutory retention obligation.
Statistical data	Retained in identifiable form for 12 months, then aggregated or anonymised.

6. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and against unlawful processing, and we review those measures periodically.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased. You may also ask us to restrict processing, object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and request transfer of the data you provided to us yourself. Where you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Requests can be sent to privacy@apotropo.com. We respond within one month. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to identify yourself in a manner that requires no more data than necessary.

If you disagree with the way we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), Postbus 93374, 2509 AJ The Hague.

We amend this statement where our services or the law give cause to do so. The version and date at the top indicate the most recent amendment.
